Sherry Batrus is a luxury real estate professional with over ten years of experience in the Naples market. She is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) and a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) focused on delivering concierge service to her customers. Her $10.0 million sale in Vanderbilt Beach was the second highest sale in Collier County in March 2023. And, according to “Business Insider” was among the top five sales at John R. Wood/Christies through the six months ending in July of that year.


Sherry and her husband are transplants from New York City. They lived and worked in the city for over 35 years spending weekends and summers on the East End of Long Island, better known as The Hamptons.


Sherry's career in the city spanned 30 years in the retail/wholesale Cosmetic Industry with time spent at Bloomingdales, Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue among others. Later, she worked for a company called Cosmetics Plus, a chain of 18 cosmetics specialty stores in New York City doing their financial plans and enabling them to secure an investment from Goldman Sachs.
During her time in the department store business, Sherry held several positions including Buyer and Group Divisional Manager working with Chanel, Lancôme, MAC, Estee Lauder etc. This introduced her to the world of fund raising in New York City, a fiercely competitive and fast paced world. She worked on the March of Dimes “Million Dollar Beauty Ball” held each year at The Waldorf Astoria and later with the Fragrance Foundation helping to establish the “FiFi” awards also known as the “Oscars” of the fragrance industry. This experience opened the door for her to do fund raising later for the NYPD.


Sherry later spent time in the wholesale beauty industry working for a private label where she held the title of Executive VP Sales/Merchandising. This involved travel to China to negotiate with the Governor of Liaoning Province to partner on a cosmetic retail business there with manufacturing in Tokyo.


After retiring from the beauty industry, Sherry secured a small business loan and started a business manufacturing and selling gifts/premiums to some of the major law firms in New York City, i.e., Cravath, Swaine & Moore, Paul Weiss Rifkind, and Davis Polk. However, after 9/11 she, like others with clients in the corporate world turned her attention to the field of security and to new and evolving areas of corporate governance, “risk management” and “business continuity”. The New York City corporate world had been badly shaken by the attacks and realized how unprepared they were for a disaster of any kind. There was a financial imperative and a responsibility to offer employees a safe work environment. During this time, Sherry added AIG, Citigroup, Pfizer, and NBC Universal, among others to her client list and began fundraising for the NYPD.
Sherry and her husband Frank enjoy travel and spending time with friends and family. Sherry is involved with the Patty & Jay Baker Humane Society in Naples contributing regularly and attending events when possible. She hopes to become more involved over time.
